Endicott woman arrested for DWAI and suspected drugs

(Union, NY – October 29, 2018) – On October 24, 2018 at about 4:53 p.m., New York State Police at Endwell arrested Nicole M. Morgan, age 40 of Endicott, NY for the felony of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the fifth degree, the misdemeanor of Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs and the violation of Unlawful Possession of Marihuana. 
Broome County 911 advised all patrols of a woman slumped over the wheel in a vehicle near E. Main and North Streets.  A trooper was in the area and located the vehicle, which also had an equipment violation.  A traffic stop was initiated and the trooper determined Morgan was impaired and should not be operating a vehicle. She was arrested and a further investigation revealed she was in possession of suspected cocaine and suspected marijuana.  Morgan was arraigned at Broome County Central Arraignment and Processing and remanded to the Broome County Jail on $1,500 cash bail or $3,000 bond.
