On November 5, 2018, troopers from the Schodack Station arrested 42-year-old Edward J. Woodka for DWI.

At approximately 10:20 p.m., a traffic stop was conducted on Interstate 90 in the Town of Schodack for an equipment violation.  Upon interviewing the driver, the trooper detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage from Woodka's breath and observed him to have slurred speech and glassy bloodshot eyes.  Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered and he was placed under arrest for DWI.

Woodka was transported to the station where he provided a breath sample resulting in a .11% blood alcohol concentration.  He was processed and released to a sober third party to appear in court at a later date.
