Troopers arrest Brooklyn man for being in possession of 15 pounds of marijuana after traffic stop

PRESS RELEASE   

 

On Friday April 19, 2019, at approximately 1:24 PM, Bryan Muczynski, 24, of Brooklyn, NY was

stopped by the State Police on Hamilton Avenue eastbound, east of the Hugh L. Carey Tunnel for being on his cell phone. 

 

An investigation revealed Muczynski  was in

possession of approximately 15 pounds of marijuana and 26 vials of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) oil.  

 

Muczynski was also in possession of over $6,000 in cash, which was seized. 

 

The State Police were assisted by NYPD and Muczynski was processed at the NYPD 76 Precinct.

 

Muczynski is being charged with the following:

1 count of Criminal Possession of Marihuana 1st Degree

26 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th Degree

1 count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree - (Intent to Sell)

 

Muczynski is being held for arraignment at the Kings County Supreme Court.
