Buffalo man arrested for marijuana possession following a traffic stop on the Thruway.

Buffalo, NY – On May 30, 2019, at approximately 7:04 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-190 in the city of Buffalo for a vehicle and traffic violation.  During the interview of the driver, probable cause to search the vehicle was established.  The driver, Carmen J. Spataro, 25, of Buffalo, NY, was found to be in possession of approximately 9 ounces of marijuana. 
 
Spataro was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Buffalo, where he was subsequently charged with Criminal Possession of Marijuana 3rd degree; a Class E Felony and a vehicle and traffic violation.
 
Spataro was issued appearance tickets returnable to the City of Buffalo Court on June 7, 2019 at 9:30 a.m.
