Connecticut man arrested for Felony DWI following a traffic stop on the Thruway.

Harrison, NY – On June 16, 2019, at approximately 2:07 a.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-287 in the town of Harrison for a vehicle and traffic violation.  After interviewing the driver, Luis G. Ramirez-Condori, 28, Norwalk, CT, he was found to be intoxicated and had a suspended license.   Ramirez-Condori was arrested and transported to SP New Rochelle where he refused to submit to a breath test to determine the alcohol content in his system. 
Additionally, Ramirez-Condori has a prior DWI conviction within the last 10 years and is required to operate a vehicle with an ignition interlock device.  As a result, he was charged with Driving While Intoxicated; a Class E Felony, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st degree; a Class E Felony, Operating a Motor Vehicle with no Ignition Interlock Device; a Class A Misdemeanor, and multiple Vehicle and Traffic Violations.
Ramirez-Condori was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Harrison Court on June 25, 2019 at 9:30 a.m.
