Pennsylvania man arrested in Staten Island for Driving While Intoxicated

Staten Island, New York – On July 6, 2019, at approximately 3:15 a.m., Troopers from SP Rockaways arrested Azem Cosovic, age 49, from Holicong, Pennsylvania, for Driving While Intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor.

 

The Troopers were patrolling the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge and conducted a traffic stop on a gray-colored 2006 Ford Explorer, operated by Cosovic, for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. The investigation into the incident found Cosovic to be impaired by alcohol, and he was subsequently arrested.

 

Cosovic was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and remanded to Richmond County Central Booking pending arraignment.
