New Jersey man arrested in Brooklyn for Driving While Intoxicated

Brooklyn, New York – On July 6, 2019, at approximately 3:55 a.m., Troopers from SP Brooklyn arrested Jeffrey Santana, age 35, of North Bergen, New Jersey, for Driving While Intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor.

 

The Troopers were patrolling the Hugh L. Carey Tunnel and conducted a traffic stop on a gray-colored 2017 Honda Civic, operated by Santana, for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. The investigation into the incident found Santana to be impaired by alcohol, and he was subsequently arrested.

 

Santana was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and remanded to Brooklyn Central Booking pending arraignment.
