Coeymans, NY – On July 13, 2019, at approximately 6:46 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 in the town of Coeymans for multiple vehicle and traffic violations.  The driver of the vehicle, Ryan J. Hooper, 42, of Westbrook, ME, was found to be intoxicated.  He was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Albany where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.27%. 
 
Hooper was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; an Unclassified Misdemeanor and several Vehicle and Traffic Violations.  He was arraigned in front of the Village of Ravena Court and remanded to the Albany County Jail in lieu of $40,000 cash bail or bond. 
 
Hooper is to appear in the Town of Coeymans Court on July 18, 2019 at 9:00 a.m.
