Brooklyn man arrested for making a terroristic threat

On July 17, 2019, Troopers and Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) from the Capital Station arrested 39-year-old Dallas Scheflen from Brooklyn, NY, for Making a Terroristic Threat (Class D - Felony) and Aggravated Harassment 2nd (Class A - Misdemeanor). 

On July, 15, 2019, Mr. Scheflen made a phone call threatening an act of violence against a form of government.  Investigation revealed the call was made from Mr. Scheflen and he was subsequently arrested after being located in Brooklyn, NY.  

Mr. Scheflen was arraigned at the City of Albany Criminal Court in front of Judge Farrell.  He was remanded to the Albany County Correctional Facility in lieu of $3,500 cash or bond.  He is to re-appear on July 23, 2019 at 9a.m.
