Beekmantown man arrested following domestic dispute

On August 6, 2019, at approximately 8:40 p.m., State Police responded to a residence on State Route 22 in West Chazy for a report of a domestic dispute. An investigation revealed 41-year-old Donald A. Dutko, of Beekmantown broke a dining room chair, and choked the female victim until she could not breathe. Dutko also struck the victim in the head. 
 
Dutko was charged with Assault 2nd degree (felony), Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th degree (misdemeanor) and Criminal Mischief 4th degree (misdemeanor).  He was then arraigned in the Town of Beekmantown Court and remanded to the Clinton County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or $2,000 bail bond.
