Syracuse man gets arrested for aggravated driving while intoxicated in Cato.

PRESS RELEASE


On August 10, 2019, Troopers out of SP Auburn arrested Indra K. Prasai, 22, of Syracuse, New York for driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated, moving from the lane unsafely and failure to keep right.

Troopers responded to a property damage accident on Brick Church Road and Smith Road in the Town of Cato.  Prasai was placed under arrest after failing standard field sobriety tests.  He was transported to SP Auburn where he provided a breath sample of .19% BAC.  Prasai was arraigned in the Town of Brutus Court and remanded to the Cayuga County Jail in lieu of $1,500 cash/$3,000 bond.  He is scheduled to reappear in the Town of Cato Court on August 19, 2019.
