On September 15, 2019, the New York State Police in Clifton Park arrested Rebecca Nelson, age 27, of Glens Falls, NY for Assault 2nd Degree.
 
The New York State Police were conducting a three-car motor vehicle property damage auto accident on Blue Barns Road in Clifton Park, New York. While conducting a standardized field sobriety test, Nelson pushed a Trooper. Nelson was then taken into custody but refused and attempted to spit and bit the Troopers. Nelson then kicked one of the Troopers, causing an injury. Nelson was taken into custody and was charged with one count of the following charges: Obstruction Governmental Administration, Disorderly Conduct, Harassment 2nd degree, Assault 2nd degree, Resisting Arrest, Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, and DWAI-Drugs.
 
Nelson was arraigned in the Town of Clifton Park Town Court where Judge Hughes set bail at five thousand dollars cash and ten thousand dollar bond. Nelson is due back in the Town of Clifton Park Town Court on 9/16/2019 at 4:00 PM.
