The New York State Police in Troop F (Rockland, Orange Sullivan, Ulster and Greene Counties) issued 86 child restraint tickets during National Child Passenger Safety Week. (September 15 through September 21, 2019).

In addition to child restraint tickets, troopers issued 2,042 tickets for New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law violations, including 87 seatbelt tickets, 729 speeding tickets, 60 distracted driving tickets and arrested 40 drivers for Driving While Intoxicated.
 
The operation was conducted in furtherance of our mission to ensure highway safety for all users of the roadway.
