Schenectady woman arrested for Criminal Impersonation after giving State Police a false name during traffic stop.

Clarkstown, NY – On October 1, 2019, at approximately 11:43 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 in the town of Clarkstown for a vehicle and traffic violation.  During the course of the investigation, the passenger, Yani Hundley, 19, of Schenectady, NY, provided the Trooper with a false name.  It was also determined that Hundley was wanted by the City of Schenectady Police Department for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property.
 
Hundley was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Tarrytown where she was subsequently charged with Criminal Impersonation 2nd degree; a Class A Misdemeanor, Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd degree; a Class A Misdemeanor, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana; a Violation. 
 
She was issued appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Clarkstown Court on November 18, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. and was turned over to the City of Schenectady Police Department.
