On October 6, 2019, State Police in Cobleskill arrested 25-year-old Dylan Finch of Schoharie, for Criminal Possession of Marihuana 3rd degree (E felony) and False Personation (A misdemeanor).

At approximately 9:01 p.m. on Sunday, State Police stopped a vehicle on State Route 7 in Schoharie for a traffic infraction. When the Trooper interviewed the driver, subsequently identified as Dylan Finch, Finch provided him with a false name.

The Trooper could smell the odor of marijuana coming from inside of the car. During a search of the vehicle, the Trooper located identification with Finch’s legal name on it, and over 12 ounces of marijuana.

Finch was taken into custody and transported to SP Cobleskill for processing. Finch was arraigned in Esperance Town Court and remanded to Schoharie County Jail on $1,000 cash or $3,000 bond. He is due back in Court at a later date.
