On October 5, 2019 New York State Police at Newfield arrested Natasha L. Thomas, age 38 of Brooktondale, NY for the misdemeanor of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the seventh degree and Criminal Possession of Marihuana in the fourth degree. Timothy M. Fuller, age 19 of Ithaca, NY was also arrested for the misdemeanor of Obstructing Governmental Administration.

A trooper initiated a traffic stop after she observed a vehicle and traffic violation inside the vehicle that Thomas was operating.  During the course of an investigation, the trooper learned that Thomas had an active arrest warrant and advised Thomas she was under arrest for the warrant charge.  Thomas was uncooperative but was ultimately taken into custody and later found to be in possession of suspected LSD and marijuana. While the trooper was attempting to arrest Thomas, Fuller is accused of attempting to obstruct the trooper from making the arrest.  Fuller was subsequently arrested.  The trooper was assisted by other troopers and an officer from the New York State Park Police.

Both Thomas and Fuller will appear in the city of Ithaca court on October 16, 2019.
