PRESS RELEASE

On October 9, 2019, State Police arrested Abraham T. Gray, 34, of Hogansburg, following an investigation and subsequent issuance of a warrant issued by the Constable Town Court. Gray contacted Franklin County 911 and reported he was involved in a motorcycle crash on July 28, 2019, on County Route 38 near Powers Road, in the town of Constable. After an investigation, troopers discovered no vehicle crash actually occurred at that location. However, Gray was transported to Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone for a knee injury he sustained from another incident.

Gray was charged with Falsely Reporting an Incident 3rd degree and Criminal Impersonation 2nd degree, both misdemeanors. He was arraigned in the Constable Town Court and subsequently released to the supervision of Franklin County Probation.

Gray had an active bench warrant from the St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police and he was transported to the St. Regis Mohawk Tribal Police Department.
