New York State Lieutenant Governor Kathleen Hochul to address attendees of the 4th Annual New York State Police Campus Sexual Assault Seminar at the State Police Academy in Albany.
The three-day seminar, which is organized by the State Police Campus Sexual Assault Victims Unit, has more than 300 attendees including members of the law enforcement community; campus public safety; Title IX coordinators; campus administrators, faculty and staff; victim advocates; medical professionals; prosecutors, and attorneys among other stakeholders.
During the event, participants will hear from experts presenting on a number of topics including the investigation of sexual assault cases, victim trauma and forensic interviewing, stalking and reducing gender bias.
A media availability will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at 8 a.m. at the State Police Academy, Building 24 on the Harriman State Office Campus.
New York State Lieutenant Governor Kathleen Hochul will address the attendees at 8a.m. Media will be allowed in the auditorium to take video or still photos of the Lieutenant Governor’s address.
Immediately following the address, Lieutenant Governor Hochul and a member of the New York State Police Campus Sexual Assault Victims Unit will be available for interviews.
