Man arrested in the Bronx for Driving While Intoxicated

Bronx, New York – On October 21, 2019 at approximately 9:00 p.m., Troopers from SP Wards Island arrested Giovanni M. Martinez-Flores, age 32, of Queens, New York, for Driving While Intoxicated - an unclassified misdemeanor.

 

The Troopers were patrolling the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge and conducted a traffic stop on a gray-colored 2013 Cadillac Escalade, operated by Martinez-Flores, for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. The investigation into the incident found Martinez-Flores to be impaired by alcohol, and he was subsequently arrested.

 

Martinez-Flores was charged with Driving While Intoxicated remanded to Bronx Central Booking pending arraignment.
