Niagara Falls man arrested for DWI with a B.A.C. over twice the legal limit on the Thruway.

 Newstead, NY – On November 3, 2019, at approximately 1:23 a.m., State Police located a vehicle parked with the motor running, on the shoulder of I-90 in town of Newstead.  The driver of the vehicle, Ryan N. Leggins, 36, of Niagara Falls, NY, was asleep at the wheel.  Investigation revealed Leggins was intoxicated.  He was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Buffalo where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.18%. 
 
Leggins was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; an Unclassified Misdemeanor.  He was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Newstead Court on November 13, 2019 at 6:00 p.m.
