PRESS RELEASE
On November 7, 2019, State Police in Greenwich arrested 26-year-old Austin D. Demarco of Argyle, for Attempted Rape 2nd degree and Attempted Criminal Sexual Act 2nd degree, both D felonies.
Demarco is accused of setting up a meeting for sex via the internet, with what he believed to be a 14-year-old female.
Demarco was located at his residence and taken into custody. He was subsequently transported to Washington County Jail to await arraignment.
