State Police Highland arrest Plattekill man for Grand Larceny 4th

On November 20, 2019, New York State Police arrested Gaston Stone, age 39 of the town of Plattekill, for Harassment 2nd Degree (violation), Criminal Mischief 4th degree (misdemeanor), Grand Larceny 4th Degree (property) and Grand Larceny 4th Degree (Automobile), both felonies.
Stone went into the home of an acquaintance without permission and forcefully removed two cell phones from occupants at the home and then took car keys and stole a vehicle from one of the occupants, he then fled the location. Stone was later located in the city of Newburgh with the vehicle and was taken into custody by the City of Newburgh Police Department. He was taken to the State Police Barracks in Highland where he was processed for the above listed charges. Stone was arraigned at Town of Plattekill Court in lieu of $5,000 cash/$10,000 bond.
