PRESS RELEASE

On February 25th, 2020, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Sean Reardon, 58, of Ashville, for Felony Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree and Possession of Controlled Substances by Ultimate Users Original Container.

Reardon was pulled over on Route 474 in Ashville for traffic violations and after failing several SFSTs, Reardon was placed under arrest. Upon searching Reardon, five suboxone strips were located inside his wallet. Reardon was transported to SP Jamestown where he was evaluated by a New York State Police Drug Recognition Expert. As Reardon’s driving record revealed a DWAI conviction within the preceding 10 years, the charge was upgraded to a felony. After securing a blood sample from Reardon at UPMC Hospital in Jamestown, Reardon was transported back to SP Jamestown where he was processed and issued traffic and appearance tickets. Reardon is scheduled to appear in the town of North Harmony Court on a later date to answer the charges.
