State Police arrested William P. Michlovitch, age 38 from Baldwinsville, NY, for the following charges:
- Burglary 2nd degree, class “C” felony
- Criminal Contempt 1st degree, class “E” felony
- Criminal Mischief 4th degree, class “A” misdemeanor
- Resisting Arrest, class “A” misdemeanor
- False Personation, class “B” misdemeanor
- Harassment 2nd degree, a violation
On January 3, 2021, at 2:50 p.m., State Police arrested Michlovitch for violating an order of protection following a domestic incident at an apartment complex on Woodsboro Drive in the town of Lysander. Michlovitch was also charged with providing a false name to officers during the investigation. He was arraigned via Skype and was released on pre-trial release. Michlovitch was scheduled to appear in the town of Lysander Court on January 27, 2021, at 7 p.m.
At 7:55 p.m., Troopers responded back to the same apartment complex for a suspicious person complaint. As Troopers arrived in the area, they observed Michlovitch exiting the apartment building. During an attempt to initiate an interview, Michlovitch fled on foot but was quickly taken into custody without further incident.
Michlovitch was arrested for going back to the female victim’s residence, damaging the door, and throwing her to the ground. He was processed at SP Lysander and transported to Onondaga County Justice Center to await centralized arraignment.
State Police were assisted at the scene by the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office.
