On November 4, 2019, New York State Troopers from SP Princetown were dispatched to a call in Duanesburg to check the welfare of a male subject who made comments to others that he may harm himself. Upon their arrival at the residence, the male subject Timothy Duncan, was located sitting in the front driver seat of a red Toyota Prius in the driveway. 

After failing to comply with verbal instructions, Duncan fled the driveway and led Troopers on a short pursuit on Mariaville Rd. which resulted in Duncan driving off the roadway and subsequently being taken into custody by Troopers. 

During the investigation, Troopers found that the vehicle Duncan was driving was reported stolen on November 3, 2019 to the Town of Glenville Police Department.  After being taken into custody, Duncan was found to possess approximately 2 grams of crack cocaine as well as other drug paraphernalia. 

Duncan was arrested for one count each of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th degree, a Class C Felony, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd degree, a Class D Felony, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, a Class A Misdemeanor, Unlawful Fleeing a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle, a Class A Misdemeanor and numerous vehicle and traffic violations as well.

Duncan was arraigned in the Town of Rotterdam court and remanded to Schenectady County Jail on $40,000 cash or $80,000 bail bond.  Duncan has a follow up court date of November 4, 2019 at Town of Rotterdam court.
