PRESS RELEASE
 
On October 12, 2020, State Police arrested 29-year-old Francesca L. Riley, of West Monroe, NY, after she stole approximately $35,400 while employed by Community Bank and working in the Lake Placid branch.  The theft occurred between January 1, 2018, and September 17, 2019. She was charged with three counts of Grand Larceny 3rd degree and three counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 3rd degree. Riley was arraigned at the North Elba Town Court, where she was released on her own recognizance.  She is scheduled to return to the North Elba Town Court at a later date.
