Croton-on-Hudson, New York – On May 22, 2021, the New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks arrested Daniel R. Usher, age 31, of Beacon, NY, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree with Intent to Sell, both class B felonies, and Driving While Intoxicated, an unclassified misdemeanor.

At approximately 1:15 a.m., Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 2012 Subaru Impreza on State Route 9 in the village of Croton-on-Hudson for multiple violations of the vehicle and traffic law.  Investigation determined Usher was driving while intoxicated and in possession of approximately 25.2 grams of cocaine.

Daniel Usher was arraigned virtually before the town of Cortlandt Court and released on his own recognizance to reappear before the village of Croton-on-Hudson Court on May 26, 2021, at 9:00 a.m.
