PRESS RELEASE

On July 7th, 2021, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Noah Rosier, 21, of Bemus Point, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree and Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs.

Rosier was pulled over for a seatbelt violation on Bemus Ellery Road and was placed under arrest after failing several SFSTs. A bag of psilocybin mushrooms was observed in Rosier’s vehicle in plain view. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a pair of metal knuckles. As Rosier had been previously convicted of a crime, the weapon charge was upgraded to a felony. Rosier was transported to SP Jamestown where he was evaluated by a New York State Drug Recognition Expert and determined to be under the influence of methamphetamine. A urine sample was secured from Rosier. Rosier was then processed and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail.
