Major Edward J. Kennedy
Troop A Commander

On November 24th, 2019, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Sally Lawson, 62, for Falsely Reporting an Incident 2nd Degree and Criminal Nuisance 2nd Degree.

The Troopers responded to a residence in Bemus Point for multiple 911 calls.  Upon their arrival, Lawson was belligerent, refused police assistance and demanded they leave her property.  Lawson would repeat this process multiple times throughout the afternoon.  After determining that Lawson never needed police or medical assistance, Lawson was placed under arrest.  Lawson was processed at SP Jamestown and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail, pending arraignment.
