On August 29th, 2021, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Bryant Stevens, 31, of Bemus Point, for Criminal Obstruction of Breathing or Blood Circulation, Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Harassment 2nd Degree.
The victim arrived at SP Jamestown to report a past-tense domestic incident that had occurred between herself and Stevens. Investigation revealed that the victim attempted to intervene when Stevens was yelling at their two-year-old child, at which point Stevens pushed the victim into the pantry door and placed her in a chokehold, impairing her breathing. The incident occurred in front of the child. Stevens was arrested, processed at SP Jamestown and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail.
