On November 13th, 2020, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Edmond Shults III, 42, of Bemus Point, for two counts of Menacing 2nd Degree.
The Troopers and Chautauqua County Sheriff Deputies responded to a residential area in Bemus Point for a report of a disorderly subject in possession of a firearm. Investigation revealed that Shults had approached a National Grid truck that was parked on the roadway and pointed a shotgun at the two employees that were seated inside. Shults was later arrested and processed at SP Jamestown. Shults was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in the town of Ellery Court on a later date.
