Troop A Commander

On July 2nd, 2022, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Megan Truver, 28, of Bemus Point, for Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd Degree, Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct.
Chautauqua County Deputies and State Troopers responded to an address in Bemus Point for a report of a domestic dispute. Responding officers attempted to interview the parties separately but Truver acted belligerant and yelled profanaties within earshot of padestrians and customers at nearby businesses. After being asked to cease her conduct, Truver continued to act disorderly, thus impeding the investigation. Troopers attempted to place Truver under arrest at which time she physically resisted being placed in handcuffs. After a brief struggle Truver was taken into custody and transported to SP Jamestown where she was processed. Truver was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in the town of Ellery Court later in the month.
