PRESS RELEASE

On April 15, 2020 at approximately 4:29 a.m., New York State Police at Endwell arrested Christian R. Wilson, age 23 of Binghamton, NY for the felony of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the fourth degree.

Troopers were dispatched to the report of a vehicle left running in the Speedway parking lot in the town of Union.  When troopers arrived, they didn’t see anyone near the vehicle.  They searched the area but couldn’t find the operator of the vehicle.  After a further investigation, it was determined that the vehicle had been taken without permission from the city of Binghamton.

Troopers ultimately determined that the vehicle was abandoned by Wilson at the Speedway.  The troopers also learned that Wilson was also stopped that same night by a Broome County Sheriff’s Deputy in the city of Binghamton in a different stolen vehicle.

Troopers located Wilson in the city of Binghamton and he was arrested.  He was processed and issued appearance tickets to the town of Union court on June 2, 2020.
