Port Chester, NY – On April 30, 2021, at approximately 9:10 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-287 in the village of Port Chester for multiple vehicle and traffic violations.  The driver of the vehicle, Patrick E. McKenzie, 57, of Bronx, NY, was found to be intoxicated.  He was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP New Rochelle where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.18%. 


McKenzie was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; an Unclassified Misdemeanor.  He was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Village of Port Chester Court on May 24, 2021 at 9:00 a.m.
