PRESS RELEASE
 



Greenburgh, NY – On January 2, 2020, at approximately 9:25 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 in the town of Greenburgh for a vehicle and traffic violation.  The driver of the vehicle, John Gonzalez, 36, of Bronx, NY, was found to be intoxicated and had a suspended license. 
 
Gonzalez was arrested and transported to SP Tarrytown where his blood alcohol content was determined to be .10%.  Additionally, Gonzalez has a prior DWI conviction within the last 10 years and as a result, he was charged with Driving While Intoxicated; a Class E Felony and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st degree; a Class E Felony.
 
Gonzalez was released to a sober third party and issued appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Greenburgh Court on January 15, 2020 at 9:30 a.m.
