PRESS RELEASE
Harrison, NY – On January 2, 2021, at approximately 12:10 a.m., State Police attempted to stop a vehicle on I-287 in the town of Harrison, for multiple vehicle and traffic violations. The driver failed to comply, and a brief pursuit ensued. Once the vehicle stopped, it was determined that the driver, Idalisa Roman, 40, of Bronx, NY, was intoxicated.
Roman was taken into custody and transported to SP Tarrytown where her blood alcohol content was determined to be .18%. She was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated and Reckless Driving; both Unclassified Misdemeanors; Reckless Endangerment 2nd degree, Unlawful Fleeing a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle 3rd degree and Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd degree; all Class A Misdemeanors.
Roman was released with appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Harrison Court on January 19, 2021 at 9:30 a.m.
