Bethlehem, NY – On January 5, 2020, at approximately 2:00 a.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 in the town of Bethlehem for a vehicle and traffic violation.  Upon interviewing the driver, probable cause to search the vehicle and the occupants was established.  The passenger, Shakima L. Reese, 28, of Brooklyn, NY, was found to be in possession of 6 grams of cocaine hydrochloride and approximately 170 grams of marijuana. 
 
Reese was taken into custody, transported, and processed at SP Albany where she was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th degree; a Class C Felony and Criminal Possession of Marijuana 4th degree; a Class A Misdemeanor.  During the investigation, it was determined that Reese was on Parole for Arson 2nd degree out of NYPD. 
 
Reese was transported and remanded to Albany County Jail on a Parole hold and was issued appearance tickets to the Town of Bethlehem Court on January 22, 2020.
