On April 20, 2021, State Police in Brunswick arrested 32-year-old Christopher M. Williams of Troy, and 32-year-old Alyssa Rogers of Troy, for Burglary 2nd degree (C felony), Grand Larceny 3rd degree (D felony) and Trespass (Violation).

On April 20, 2021, state police responded to a report of a residential burglary at a home in the town of Brunswick. When Troopers arrived on scene, they interviewed the homeowner who reported that someone had entered their home and stolen over $11,000 worth of property.

While investigating the scene, troopers located the suspects, Williams and Rogers, whose vehicle had become stuck while driving under electrical lines that crossed the victim’s property. Their vehicle was found to contain property stolen from the residence.

Further investigation revealed that Williams was a suspect in the theft of a RV that occurred in the town of Cicero, NY. The vehicle that troopers located Williams and Rogers in is believed to have been used in the commission of that crime. Williams was additionally charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 3rd degree and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 5th. It was also determined that Williams was wanted on an arrest warrant from the State of Missouri and he was charged as a Fugitive from Justice.

Williams and Rogers were processed at SP Brunswick and arraigned in Schaghticoke Town Court. Williams was remanded to Rensselaer County Jail without bail. Rogers was released on her own recognizance and ordered to report to Rensselaer County Probation.
