Buffalo, NY – On August 28, 2020, at approximately 7:30 p.m., State Police responded to a one car motor vehicle accident on I-190 in the city of Buffalo. 


The investigation revealed the driver of the vehicle hit a bridge structure when he failed to make his exit.  The uninjured driver, Frederick Bohne, 43, of Buffalo, NY, was found to be intoxicated and had a suspended license due to a prior DWI arrest.  During the course of the interview, probable cause to search the vehicle was established.  Approximately 61 grams of marijuana was located in the trunk of the vehicle.  He was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Buffalo where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.24%. 


Bohne was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st degree; a Class E Felony, Criminal Possession of Marijuana 4th degree; a Class A Misdemeanor, and Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; an Unclassified Misdemeanor.


Bohne was turned over to a sober third party and released on an appearance tickets returnable to the City of Buffalo Court on September 15, 2020 at 9:30 a.m.
