Buffalo man arrested for DWI with a B.A.C. over twice the legal limit following a traffic stop on the Thruway.

Buffalo, NY – On February 2, 2021, at approximately 12:00 a.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-190 in the city of Buffalo, for multiple vehicle and traffic violations.  The driver of the vehicle, Harerimana Slyvestre, 44, of Buffalo, NY, was found to be intoxicated. 

 

Slyvestre was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Buffalo where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.13%.  He was charged with Driving While Intoxicated; an Unclassified Misdemeanor.   

 

Slyvestre was turned over to a sober third party and released on an appearance ticket returnable to the City of Buffalo Court on February 12, 2021 at 9:00 a.m.
