Buffalo, NY – On February 21, 2020, at approximately 4:10 p.m., State Police received a report of an erratic operator on I-90 in the town of Hamburg.  Troopers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle and traffic violation.  The driver of the vehicle, Mohamud H. Mohamud, 27, of Buffalo, NY, was found to be intoxicated.  He was taken into custody, transported and processed at SP Buffalo where his blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.23%. 

 

Mohamud was charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; an Unclassified Misdemeanor.  He was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Hamburg Court on March 20, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.
