Buffalo, NY – On September 15, 2021, at approximately 3:00 a.m., State Police responded to the Peace Bridge on I-190 in the city of Buffalo for a report of an intoxicated driver stopped by Customs and Border Protection Agents.  Raj K. Tiwari, 23, of Buffalo, NY, was found to be intoxicated and was turned over to State Police.  Tiwari was transported to SP Buffalo   where his blood alcohol content was determined to be .19%. 

Additionally, Tiwari was previously convicted of DWI within the last 10 years and as a result was charged with the Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated; a Class E Felony. 

Tiwari was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the City of Buffalo Court on October 6, 2021 at 9:00 a.m.
