On March 29, 2021, at approximately 2:32 p.m. State Police responded to a one car roll-over on State Route 11B, in Dickinson. An investigation at the scene revealed that a 2012 Jeep Cherokee operated by Jeremy A. Lamotte, of Keeseville, was traveling east on State Route 11B.  His vehicle ran off the south shoulder of the roadway and struck a ditch. His vehicle then rolled over multiple times before coming to rest.  Lamotte was transported to Alice Hyde Medical Center for broken ribs. He refused treatment and was released. Lamotte was found in possession of a quantity of cocaine, heroin, marijuana, suboxone, and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and charged with DWAI-drugs, three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd degree. He was issued tickets to appear in the Dickinson Town Court and the Malone Town Court. Lamotte was then turned over to the Franklin County Jail due to a warrant issued for a parole violation.
