PRESS RELEASE
 
On February 12th, 2021, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Mark Lemay, 42, of Cassadaga, for three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree, two counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree, Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs and Possession of a Controlled Substance by Ultimate Users Original Container.
 
Lemay was pulled over on Route 60 in Gerry for traffic violations and after failing several SFSTs, Lemay was placed under arrest. A search of Lemay and his vehicle revealed a vial containing liquid PCP, two bags containing methamphetamine, a bag containing heroin, a pipe containing methamphetamine residue, a bag containing hallucinogenic mushrooms, five buprenorphine hydrochloride pills, a crushed Viagara pill, several items used for the packaging and sale of narcotics and a metal knuckle knife. Lemay was transported to SP Jamestown where he was evaluated by a New York State Police Drug Recognition Expert and determined to be under the influence of a narcotic and stimulant combination. A blood sample was secured from Lemay at UPMC Hospital in Jamestown. Lemay was transported back to SP Jamestown, processed, and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail.
