On October 12, 2019, State Police in Brunswick arrested 49-year-old Paris C. Krakenberg of Catskill, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated- Leandra’s Law (E felony).
 
Shortly after 9:00 p.m. on Saturday night, State Police received a report of a vehicle driving erratically on Hoosick Road in Brunswick. When Troopers stopped the car, they could smell the odor of alcohol coming from inside the vehicle. The operator, Paris Krakenberg, was administered the Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. He failed the tests, and was taken into custody. Krakenberg also had a 12-year-old child in the vehicle at the time.
 
Krakenberg was transported to SP Brunswick where he provided a breath sample of .14% B.A.C. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in Brunswick Town Court on October 30, 2019 at 5:00 p.m.
