Albany, NY – On February 14, 2020, at approximately 8:10 p.m., State Police stopped a car on I-87 in the city of Albany for a vehicle and traffic violation.  While interviewing the driver, probable cause to search the vehicle was established.  The driver, Jasmine N. Curry, 28, of Catskill, NY, was found to be in possession of approximately 22.6 grams of MDMA pills. 

Curry was taken into custody, transported, and processed at SP Albany where she was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell 3rd degree; both Class B Felonies. 

Curry was arraigned before the City of Albany Court where she was released, to return on February 19, 2020. 


*MDMA is also known as Ecstasy or Molly.  MDMA is a psychoactive drug primarily used for its euphoric effects.
