On May 13th, 2020, Troopers out of SP Jamestown arrested Paul Briggs, 35, of Celoron, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree.
Briggs was pulled over on County Route 380 in Gerry for a traffic violation and during the traffic stop, Briggs was found to be in possession of two bags containing methamphetamine, two smoking devices containing methamphetamine residue and a container with methamphetamine residue. Briggs was placed under arrest, transported to SP Jamestown and processed. Briggs was issued an appearance ticket and a traffic ticket and is scheduled to appear in the town of Gerry Court on a later date.
