Chatham, New York – On May 18, 2020, the New York State Police from the Kinderhook barracks and the SP Livingston Bureau of Criminal Investigation arrested Gary T. Williams, age 25, of Chatham, for Criminal Contempt in the 1st degree, a class E felony.

At approximately 10:45 p.m., Troopers responded to State Route 203 for a report of a domestic incident.  Investigation determined Williams engaged in a domestic incident in violation of an order of protection with a previous conviction for the same crime.

Williams was arraigned before the town of Chatham Court, and released on his own recognizance.  Williams is next scheduled to appear before the Court on July 1, 2020, at 6:00 p.m.
