On February 23, 2021, at approximately 10:30 p.m. State Police responded to a residence on Stratton Hill Road in the town of Chazy for report of a domestic dispute.  An investigation at the scene revealed that 31-year-old Cory R. Rock of Chazy, drove a car while the victim was holding onto the outside of it, causing her to be dragged a short distance. The victim sustained abrasions to her back and declined medical attention. Rock was arrested and charged with Reckless Endangerment 2nd degree and Aggravated Family Offense. Rock was virtually arraigned by the Peru Town Court and released. He is scheduled to reappear in the Chazy Town Court at a later date.
