UPDATED PRESS RELEASE

 

 

On February 18, 2021, State Police arrested Brian D. Streeter, age 33, from Bridgeport, NY, for the following charges:

  • Criminal Sale of a Firearm 3rd degree, class “D” felony
  • Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree, class “D” felony
  • Criminal Possession of a Firearm, class “E” felony
  • Unlawful Possession of a large capacity (30 round) ammunition feeding device, class “A” misdemeanor.

Streeter, being previously convicted of a crime, is charged with selling the 9mm P80 pistol with a 30-round magazine to Todd Estes in 2020 for $600 cash.

Streeter was transported to the Oneida County Jail for centralized arraignment.  


On February 10, 2021, Investigators arrested Todd A. Estes, age 42, from Vienna, NY for the following charges:

  • Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd degree, class “C” felony
  • Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree, class “D” felony
  • Criminal Possession of a Firearm, class “E” felony
  • Menacing 2nd degree with a weapon, class “A” misdemeanor
  • Unlawful Possession of a large capacity (30 round) ammunition feeding device, class “A” misdemeanor.

Mr. Estes was charged following the investigation into the shooting incident which took place inside his residence on February 2nd. The investigation determined that Estes illegally possessed a loaded 9mm handgun with a 30 round magazine clip and during a physical altercation, threatened a female and Nicholas Damanski with shooting them. 

Estes was transported to the Oneida County Public Safety Building for Centralized Arraignment.  


State Police is investigating a shooting incident that occurred at 7289 State Route 13 in the town of Vienna, Oneida County.

The preliminary investigation has determined Nicholas Damanski and Todd Estes were involved in a physical altercation inside the residence, and during the altercation, Damanski shot Estes with a handgun.   

42-year-old Todd A. Estes from 7289 State Route 13 was transported to Oneida Hospital and later transferred to Upstate University Hospital with a gunshot wound to his upper torso.  He is listed in stable condition.

Investigators have charged Nicholas C. Damanski, age 35, from Chittenango, NY, with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd degree, a class "C" felony, and Assault 2nd degree, a class "D" felony. He was transported to the Oneida County Public Safety Building for centralized arraignment.

State Police were assisted at the scene by the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office, North Bay and Sylvan Beach Fire Departments, and Vineall Ambulance.

The investigation is continuing.
